1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how App Snap (“App Snap”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website at https://appsnap.app, our mobile applications (including Snap Rewards, Storycean, and Fitlits), and any related services (together, the “Service”).
App Snap is a registered sole proprietorship in India, owned and operated by Munaf Fajlani. Our registered office is 102, First Floor, New Shopping Center, Aliabada, Jamnagar, Gujarat 361110, India.
This Service includes ad-supported products provided at no cost and products that may offer in-app purchases. The Service is intended for use as is, subject to this Policy and our legal terms.
If you choose to use the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this Policy. The personal information we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.
Terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions and Terms of Service, unless otherwise defined here.
2. Information collection and use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The information we request is retained by us and used as described in this Policy.
Depending on the product, this may include:
- Account identifiers such as name, email address, and Google account information used to sign in
- Device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, language, and time zone
- App activity, such as tasks started, stories played, workouts logged, or screens viewed
- Health and fitness data that you choose to enter in Fitlits (workouts, nutrition, measurements, photos)
- Support messages you send to us
- Payment or redemption details needed to fulfil a reward, where a product offers rewards
Our apps use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Those partners operate under their own privacy policies. Examples include:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob (on ad-supported products such as Snap Rewards)
- Meta / Facebook SDKs where used for analytics or advertising measurement
- Survey, offer, and attribution partners used to match optional research or rewarded tasks
3. Log data
Whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error in the app or website we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your device called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service
- Create and authenticate accounts
- Personalise content, tasks, stories, or fitness recommendations
- Process reward redemptions where applicable
- Measure performance, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms
- Send service messages and, where permitted, product updates
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests
5. Third-party market research and survey partners
We may share your information (such as device ID, IP address, and general demographic data) with third-party market research and survey partners. These partners use this data to provide you with relevant survey opportunities. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary.
In compliance with data protection regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users have the right to request access to, deletion of, or opt-out of the sharing of their personal data. 6. Advertising and analytics
Ad-supported apps may show third-party advertisements. Advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads and measure campaigns. You can often reset your advertising identifier in device settings, and you may use platform controls such as Google’s ad settings.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use essential cookies or similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell cookie data. You can control cookies through your browser.
8. Data retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, including legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Data is encrypted in transit. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You can request that data be deleted. See Delete account and Section 12 below.
9. International transfers
We operate from India. Service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@appsnap.app and we will delete it.
11. GDPR — legal bases and rights (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on one or more of these bases: your consent; performance of a contract with you; our legitimate interests (such as securing the Service, preventing fraud, and understanding product use) where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.
You may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

12. CCPA / CPRA — California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes of collection, the categories of sources, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it; to delete personal information; to correct inaccurate personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information; and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
App Snap does not sell personal information for money. We may share identifiers with advertising, analytics, or survey partners as described above. California residents may opt out of such sharing by emailing support@appsnap.app with the subject “CCPA / Do Not Sell or Share”. You may also use an authorised agent as permitted by law.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics beyond what is needed to provide the Service you requested.
13. India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
App Snap is a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) for personal data processed in connection with the Service. We process personal data for the lawful purposes described in this Policy, based on consent or other grounds permitted by the DPDP Act and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.
Data Principals in India have the right, subject to the Act, to:
- Obtain a summary of personal data being processed and the processing activities
- Request correction, completion, updating, and erasure of personal data
- Have an easily accessible means of grievance redressal
- Nominate another person in accordance with applicable rules
- Withdraw consent
Requests may be sent to support@appsnap.app. If you are not satisfied with our response, contact the Grievance Officer below. You may also escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided by law.

The Grievance Officer is available to address complaints from users in India regarding this Policy or the processing of personal data. We aim to acknowledge grievances promptly and to resolve them within the timelines required by applicable law.
15. Product-specific notes
Snap Rewards
Snap Rewards is an ad-supported rewards app. Completing surveys or offers is optional. Reward availability, identity checks, and payout timing depend on partners and your region. We and our partners may process device and profile data to match eligible tasks and to prevent fraud.
Storycean
Storycean may collect account and app-performance data to deliver audio stories. In-app purchases, if you make them, are processed by the store operator (for example Google Play). We do not receive your full payment card number.
Fitlits
Fitlits may process health and fitness information that you enter, including workouts, nutrition, measurements, and progress photos. Google sign-in is used for authentication. Fitlits does not post on your behalf. Treat progress photos as sensitive; only upload images you are comfortable storing with your account.
16. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy, where permitted by law. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or in the relevant app where required.
